The Vision

Our mission is to empower marginalized communities–Black people, young people, justice-impacted individuals, and the working class–through bold voter registration strategies and civic education. We reject the idea of “low propensity voters” and instead focus on turning overlooked potential into long-term participation. We build power where political parties often ignore it.

We envision a multiracial democracy where every voice is heard and counted. We believe that by creating a generation of super voters, young voters who participate in every election and will be able to vote for generations, we can achieve that vision. By organizing at the intersections of race, class, and justice, SHOTS² aims to permanently shift power toward historically excluded communities and ensure they are not only seen but centered.
